The Philips Iridium can regularly be seen in the Dutch street scene at various mast heights. The fixtures with conventional lighting have proven themselves for years as an extremely robust and reliable sliding fixture.
The fixture is made of fiberglass, polyester or cast aluminum and has a long lifespan. The shield is made of impact-resistant, clear polycarbonate or glass. The Iridium family is available in three different sizes. The 252, 253 and 254 series have a polyester housing and the 452, 453 and 454 series have an aluminum housing.
At the request of many users of the Iridium, Industria has created a suitable RetroLed solution for all versions, with the aim of maintaining or improving the original light performance so that a one-to-one replacement can be carried out quickly (plug and play).
The modules are constructed in such a way that the LED lighting illuminates the road surface and the surrounding area as efficiently as possible, meaning that a lighting technical (re)calculation should be considered to achieve greater savings.
