Industria Lighting introduces a new variant of the current Industria Indupar fixture. The new fixture is a better match for a hybrid installation, because this new variant with 1150 watts is more powerful compared to its predecessor with 1000 watts.
More and more entrepreneurs are opting for a hybrid installation; a combination of HPS and LED lighting. We all want to use as little energy as possible, but we cannot or in some cases do not dare (yet) to do without the radiant heat of the HPS lamps. But LED is many times more efficient, meaning that an investment is often recouped more quickly. In addition, LED offers more options with the light spectrum to influence the growth of the plant, such as more kilos, taste, better roots or less use of inhibitors.
The new Indupar fixture has been developed with hybrid installations in mind. The 1150 watt variant has a better light output than the LED modules we work with, creating better uniformity of the light image. On the outside, the fixture does not change compared to a 1000 watt variant. Adjustments have been made inside the fixture to optimize temperature management for 1150 watts.
We can supply this fixture from November and we have already achieved a scoop with this new type. The first project with 1150 watt fixtures will be completed in week 44 at Leen Middelburg Chrysanten. Middelburg Chrysanten has once again opted for a hybrid grow light installation for the Midstelven location. At the Midbos location they already work with a hybrid installation that they are very satisfied with.
At Midstelven they have opted for an even higher light level, to which the 1150 watts fit perfectly. Because it is an existing greenhouse, they are tied to the grid of the sprinklers that hang from the same profile. The combination of 1150 watt HPS and 2200 μmol LED is the ideal solution.
